Patrick’s Senior Portrait Testimonial

High School Senior PortraitsAugust 22nd, 2010

Patrick, a 2011 Eldred Senior Model, recently had his senior portrait session with us. After each of our sessions, we invite our clients to share their experience with friends and family. Just a few short hours after Patrick’s recent senior portrait session, we received this testimonial …

I had my senior pictures done with Wanamaker recently and everything went as smoothly as it could be. Loretta was full of great idea’s. She was so flexible with everything that I asked about. I was nervous about taking the pictures but the session was so laid back. I loved every minuted of it. She had a lot of great ideas with basketball part of the shoot. I would love to use them again! If you don’t use Wanamaker you’re not getting the best service!

As a thank you, here is one of our favorite images from the session as a sneak peek for you!

Ferrier Family Portrait Testimonial

Maternity, Babies And FamiliesAugust 20th, 2010

Over the last few years, we’ve worked many of the Ferrier’s through all of the sports they play at Minisink Valley. Before the majority of them headed back to college, we thought it would be a great idea for everyone to get together and hold a family portrait session.

Originally, their Westtown, NY session was scheduled to be an outside one, however, it rained that day, so we decided to move everything inside. A few days after the session, Jenna, one of the Ferrier’s I photographed, posted this testimonial – letting us know how much fun they had during their session!

My cousins and I recently had our pictures taken with Wanamaker just a little over a week ago. There are a lot of us Ferrier’s, so Loretta took some shots of just the girls, then some shots of just the boys. Eventually we all took some photos together. Loretta took pictures of us in a pyramid, jumping shots and posing like Charlies Angels. No one was expecting to have as much fun as they did. Loretta is an amazing photographer who really knows what she’s doing. She even managed to take some great shots of the boys who were really just goofing off the whole time. The last time we all got our pictures taken together was awhile ago and I’m happy that we got to work with Wanamaker.

As a thank you, here is a quick peek at one of the images from the session featuring all of the girls!

Laurel And Patrick’s Maternity Session

Maternity, Babies And FamiliesAugust 18th, 2010

Where does the time go? Nearly two years ago, we were photographing an engagement session for Laurel and Patrick and now we’re doing their first maternity session! As members of our Lifetime Portrait Program, they enjoy a host of benefits when it comes to capturing their growing family through the years.

Nearly 8 months along, Laurel and Patrick were super excited for the session and for the new baby to arrive. To make things easier for them, I packed up the studio and headed to their home in Middletown, NY to setup right in their living room. Having worked together before, it was easy for me to get some great shots of them almost immediately.

Unfortunately, we’re a little behind on getting our sessions on the blog. As of this posting, Baby Mason was officially delivered into this world on August 3rd. We can’t wait for his first newborn session!

Kaitlin And Jeffrey’s Day After Session (Sort of …)

Weddings And EngagementsJuly 29th, 2010

Before leaving Kaitlin and Jeffrey’s wedding, they asked us about doing a Day After Session with them the following morning. Unfortunately, after a long night of partying, the couple had some sleep to catch up on before starting their honeymoon the next day. So, we decided to photograph their Day After Session … just not so quite the day after!

This past weekend we met up with Kaitlin and Jeffrey in Highland Lake, NY to do some portraits along the lake. After we got some of the more traditional shots out of the way, we decided to turn up the fun factor using a trampoline in the neighbors yard. My only instruction to the couple was to have fun. The following shot was the first (and my favorite) from a series of Jeffrey.

More to come soon!
