Wanamaker Photography is a team of creative portrait artists who love what they do and enjoy working with clients to create unique works of art. Our goal is to capture photos with emotion, meaning and style. We specialize in high school seniors, weddings and families including maternity, newborn and children. With offices in Orange County New York and Pike County Pennsylvania, we serve a variety of clients both locally and worldwide.
Chris Wanamaker
Part Photographer. Part Computer Geek. Chris launched Wanamaker Photography back in 2005 with a Canon Rebel XT and the desire to run his own business. Unfortunately, getting started wasn’t as easy as it looked! Photographing landscapes and local models, Chris continued to educate himself on the technology, techniques and business practices behind it all.
In late 2006, Wanamaker Photography ventured into the world of Sports and Event photography when we covered our first homecoming football game for Minisink Valley High School. Since then, Chris has continued to focus on the growth of our Sports And Event division by bringing the newest technology to the field and the best products to our customers. You’ll often find Chris on the sidelines (or as close to the action as possible) as he loves photographing sports – especially football!
Loretta Wolff
Loretta joined the Wanamaker Photography family in 2006 and quickly became the voice and face of the business. Meeting with brides, making children smile and working directly with clients are just a few of the many responsibilities Loretta has taken under her wing. Usually, she is the one you’ll talk to when you call or the one responding to your emails!
When it comes to the studio, Loretta primarily focuses on weddings, senior portraits and families (including maternity sessions, newborns and children). With her outgoing and easy-to-get-along-with personality, clients often comment on how pleasurable it is to work with her – from the initial meeting, through the portrait session and to the sales presentation at the end. Currently pursuing her Masters in Photography, Loretta is always finding inspiration in areas most wouldn’t think of looking and continues to bring new skills, techniques and creativity into the business.
Together, Chris and Loretta work as a team to bring clients unsurpassed service and the highest quality portraits. Both are members of leading industry groups including: Professional Photographers of America, Society of Sports and Event Photographers and Wedding And Portrait Photographers International. Each year, we travel the country to attend classes, seminars and trade shows to gather the latest technology and techniques available.
